Massacre in Jonestown, 1978.

Jonestown, Guyana. At the red X was the main pavilion. At the green
H there was a landing place for helicopters. The city is now levelled
with the ground. Guyana's jungle has reclaimed that land lost in the
70s. Coordinates: 7°41′22″N  59°57′0″W

     Jim Jones (1931 - ????)                    Martin Bormann             Marceline Jones (1927 - ????)

Jim Jones was born and raised in Crete, Indiana, USA. His father had participated in the First World War. Jim Jones has said that the father was a member of the Ku Klux Klan. At one point, Jim Jones had taken a friend, who was black in complexion, to the family's home. The father refused to let in Jones' friend. This event became a turning point in Jones' life. He became involved in the fight against racism.

Jones was married to Marceline Baldwin Jones. She was a nurse. Jim Jones met her when he had an extra job at the hospital where Marceline worked. They married in 1949.

In the early 1950's, Jones was present at meetings organized by the Communists in Indianapolis. He then professed to Marxism. He got the idea to spread his political message through the church. In 1952 he was commissioned as a preacher for a Methodist church in Indianapolis. The church leadership knew that Jones was a communist. The partnership worked for a time, until Church leadership banned Jones from integrating blacks into his congregation.

By this time, faith healing had emerged as a new phenomenon in American churches. Jones had witnessed a faith healing in a Baptist church and then noticed that the participants were ready to hand over both their souls and wallets. He was aware of a church of his own was the financial springboard to the social goals he set. In 1956 he established a church which was named "Peoples Temple Christian Church Full Gospel". All races were welcome to the church. In time, Jones became a well-known preacher in the United States. In the early 1960s, he used radio and television to reach a wider audience. Some of his performances received a lot of attention.

In 1963, he announced to his congregation that the church would be relocated to Redwood Valley, California. The reason was Jones' assumption that a nuclear war would break out in 1967. The congregation would then be safe in California.

In the late 1960s, Jones began to distance himself from the Christian message in order to concentrate on socialism. In a sermon, he stated that "those who remain drugged by the opiate religion must be brought to enlightenment - socialism".

In the early 70's, Jones continued on the paved road. He now completely distanced himself from Christianity. In sermons, he presented himself as the reincarnation of Gandhi, Jesus and Vladimir Lenin. He became increasingly fixated on his own person. His message to the church was: "If you want to see me as God, I will be your God".

Meanwhile in California, the church grew exponentially. Jones established local branches in San Francisco and Los Angeles. In the early 1970s, San Francisco was a center of the left-wing radical US movement. Jones and the Peoples Temple gained influence in the city's political circles. George Moscone was instrumental in winning the mayoral election in 1975. In return, Jones was awarded the chairmanship of the San Francisco Housing Authority Commission.

Jones was now an established name at the national level. In the run-up to the 1976 presidential election, he met the candidate for vice president, Walter Mondale. On several occasions, he met the president's wife, Rosalynn Carter.

Jones' increased influence led to American media beginning to scrutinize the Peoples Temple. Reporter Marshall Kilduff of the San Francisco Chronicle told New West magazine about abuses within the Peoples Temple. They published an article in which former members accused the church of physically and sexually abusing members. In the summer of 1977, Jones decided to move the congregation to their facility in Guyana. Jones had named
it "Jonestown".

Jonestown was an agricultural project. Jones had built the city for several years before the article in New West
was published. He wanted the project to appear as a communist model society. There was a well-equipped hospital in the area. Many races were represented among those recruited. 68% of the population belonged to the blacks. Members were forbidden to leave Jonestown.

With the move to Guyana, Jones' influence in the congregation diminished. He was no longer needed for new recruitment of members. Leading members had noted that Jones was involved in drug abuse. He became increasingly apocalyptic in his sermons. He talked about dying together and moving to another planet. Jones had sexual relations outside of marriage. He claimed to be the biological father of at least two children out of wedlock.

There were members who dropped out before moving to Guyana. Tim Stoen was a leading figure in this group. They formed an association called "Concerned Relatives". They had relatives in Jonestown who wanted to return to the United States. In January 1978, Stoen visited the State Department in Washington. He also contacted some people in the US Congress - including Congressman Leo Ryan. Stoen reported about misconduct inside the Peoples Temple. There were suspicions of human rights violations.

Leo Ryan (1925 - 1978)

By November 1978, Ryan had formed a delegation to visit the Peoples Temple in Guyana. On November 15, they arrived in Guyana's capital, Georgetown. The delegation included relatives of members of the Peoples Temple, cameramen from the news company NBC and reporters from a number of newspapers. On November 17, the delegation flew in a Twin Otter plane to the airport at Port Kaituma. It is located about 200 km northwest of Georgetown.

The distance between Jonestown and Port Kaituma is about 10 km. A simple gravel road
connects the towns.

The length of the runway is about 800 m. The photo was shot from the east. V-marked.

Upon arrival in Jonestown, the delegation received a warm welcome. There was music and refreshments. Jones tried to convince that everything was fine in Jonestown. Some members handed over small handwritten messages to the delegation. They asked for help to leave Jonestown. Ryan and three of his co-workers stayed overnight in Jonestown. Others in the delegation were asked to leave Jonestown. They were given accommodation in Port Kaituma. On the morning of November 18, those who spent the night in Port Kaituma arrived in Jonestown. They were invited to a guided tour of the town. Tour leader was Marceline Jones. In the afternoon, a few more congregation members contacted Ryan's delegation for help leaving Jonestown. Jim Jones gave two families permission to leave.

After the visit, most of Ryan's delegation set off for Port Kaituma. They were picked up by a truck. Ryan and one of his associates stayed behind to handle the paperwork for some
members who wanted to leave Jonestown. Shortly after the truck drove away, a member grabbed Ryan while wielding a knife. This person was overpowered by others whereupon Ryan wanted to leave Jonestown. People on the truck had observed the quarrel with Ryan. It stopped and picked him up.

The delegation had chartered a 19-seater Twin Otter plane for the flights between Georgetown and Port Kaituma. The group had grown larger after the visit to Jonestown. The defected members could not all get a seat on the Twin Otter plane. A 6-seater Cessna was ordered through the US Embassy in Georgetown. Around 5:10 p.m., the plane had arrived in Port Kaituma. Embarking began. The Cessna was first out and taxied down on the runway. Suddenly, one of the passengers, Larry Layton, produced a gun and began firing at the other passengers. He injured two but was disarmed by a third.

Meanwhile, the others had begun to embark the Twin Otter. A tractor with a trailer approached. It is estimated that about 9 people were on the trailer. They were members of Jonestown's security force. When they were about 9 meters from the plane, they started firing at it. Ryan was killed after being shot more than 20 times. Another four people were killed and
9 injured. The plane was damaged in such a way that it could not fly. The pilots on the Twin Otter and the pilot on the Cessna fled in the Cessna for further travel to Georgetown.

During his visit to Jonestown, Ryan had interviewed about 60 people. None of them had expressed a desire to leave Jonestown. Ryan's conclusion was that the 14 who appeared and announced that they wanted to leave were a small part of the congregation. He announced that he would submit a report which mainly described the conditions in Jonestown as good. After the delegation left, Marceline Jones announced over the communication system that everything was in order and that the members could return to their homes.

Meanwhile, other members had prepared a poison mixture in large metal
tubes. It contained i.e. valium and cyanide. About 30 minutes after Marceline Jones' announcement, Jim Jones made his own. He urged members to gather immediately in the main pavilion.

Toxic mixture. V-marked.

A 44-minute cassette tape has recorded what was said at the meeting in the main pavilion. Jones said hostile forces would capture the congregation's children and then turn them to fascists. To prevent this, Jones urged the congregation to commit "revolutionary suicide". Shortly thereafter, the members began to take the poison. For children, death occurred within 5 minutes and for adults within 20 - 30 minutes. A total of 918 people committed suicide.

So far the official version of the "suicides" in Jonestown. I have examined this incident in more detail under the assumption that it forms part of the war on semen.

"Mind Control" can most easily be translated to the term "brainwashing". What this means in practice is a far more complicated story. Already during World War II, the German Nazis had started experiments at prisoners of war. It was mainly the German intelligence service, the Gestapo, that was interested in the development in this area. During interrogations with prisoners, they wanted to quickly and efficiently obtain truthful information that could be used in the continued war. Interrogation methods were developed that would break down the prisoner's resistance. After the end of the war, many people connected to the Nazi intelligence services took refuge in the United States. They were qualified war criminals but were still welcomed by the CIA. The reason was that they had far-reaching intelligence information about the Soviet Union.

In the early 1950s, the CIA's research within Mind Control was sanctioned. A project was started under the code name MK Ultra. Many activities were criminal. The subjects recruited were primarily American citizens. The program included experiments aimed at manipulating brain functions. Chemical substances such as LSD were used. Electroshock, hypnosis, isolation and sexual abuse were methods that were tested. Universities, hospitals, prisons and pharmaceutical companies participated in the project.

There are private investigators who have presented convincing evidence that Jonestown was part of the MK Ultra project. In the 1970s, the CIA actively sought out suitable objects for its experiments. It was thought that the churches could be suitable for large-scale experiments. My assumption is that Jim Jones and the Peoples Temple have been in the CIA's focus for a long time before the formation of Jonestown. The first test of the usefulness of the Peoples Temple came in connection with the move to Red Valley, in 1963. Here the CIA has participated in the financing of the move. In the next step, Jim Jones has been marketed in the established circles in the USA. In the 1970s, he was well known in both religious and political circles in the United States. It facilitated the recruitment of members to the Peoples Temple.

There is a large amount of information about Jonestown on the Internet. One of the more interesting websites is:

Alternative Considerations of Jonestown & Peoples Temple

A database has been created that contains all known victims in Jonestown:
https://jonestown.sdsu.edu/?post_type=who_died

I have studied photos showing the victims. I judge that the vast majority are the result of insemination. Jehovah's must have been involved in the recruitment of members to Jonestown. It has happened systematically among underprivileged people. People placed in mental hospitals and prisons have been included in the recruitment .

The construction of Jonestown has been funded through the CIA. This has taken place within the MK Ultra's budget. The CIA's choice of Guyana was a deliberate choice to avoid scrutiny by the US media and authorities. The legislation governing the project in the United States could not be applied in Guyana. Jonestown had a well-equipped hospital. There, the medical experiments were performed on the members. The government in Guyana in the 1970s was corrupt and unpopular. It was easy for the CIA to buy the leeway needed for the Mind Control project. The CIA had an office in Georgetown. It was located in the same premises as the American embassy. The CIA chief there was Richard Dwyer. He attended Leo Ryan's visit to Jonestown. Jim Jones was completely in the hands of the CIA after moving to Guyana. In practice, he worked as a CIA agent. An important contact for Jones was George Phillip Blakey. He was also a CIA agent. He was married to Debra Leyton Blakey whose brother was Larry Leyton. Larry Leyton was later prosecuted for the attack at
the Kaituma Airstrip. The first trial took place in Guyana. He was acquitted by the court on the grounds that he had been a victim of drugs and brainwashing. After being in custody for 18 months, he returned to the United States. He was charged there with being part of a conspiracy to assassinate Leo Ryan. He was acquitted. This became a major problem for the real conspirator i.e. the CIA. Leyton was the only possible person to be charged with prosecution. The verdict was appealed and Leyton was re-indicted in 1986. Evidence that had been rejected by the court in the first trial was approved this time. Leyton was convicted of attempted murder. The court's motivation was that Leyton was part of a conspiracy that included members of Jonestown. Leyton was released on parole in 2002 after 18 years in prison.

Larry Leyton has been arrested by police at the Kaituma Airstrip. Show off. My hypothesis is
that Leyton was designated a "patsy" long before the massacre. I guess Leyton had had his
fingers in the jam jar and therefore was punished.

The Cessna at the Kaituma Airstrip. There are several sources on the Internet that list this
photo as
the murder scene for Leo Ryan. The other four bodies would then be his co-workers.
I think
that the photo is arranged. The picture was probably shot some time before the murder
of Ryan. There are none
pictures of the Twin Otter plane. My suspicion is that neither the Twin
Otter nor the Cessna ever
was in Port Kaituma on November 18. It is likely that those who were
appointed to be murdered have
met death in suitable premises in Port Kaituma. CIA agents are
responsible for all murders in Port
Kaituma. The Cessna appears to be P-marked.

After the "suicides" in Jonestown became known, medical teams showed up to examine the victims. Guyana's foremost pathologist, Dr. C. Leslie Mootoo, arrived in Jonestown a few hours after the "suicides". He estimated that about 400 bodies lay at the main pavilion. He found that 80-90% of the bodies had fresh needle stick marks on the left shoulder blade. Mootoo judged that the dead could not cause these marks themselves. Most of the dead lay with their stomachs to the ground. The American doctors who were on site judged that no autopsies were needed to be performed. My hypothesis is that all the victims were killed by military forces organized by the CIA. When the members gathered in the main pavilion, they were probably subjected to a gas attack that made them unconscious. Immediately afterwards, a large number of people injected the victims with a deadly poison. Thereafter, the victims were carried out. They have been placed close together to give the illusion of a collective suicide.

The victims were placed outside the main pavilion. The photo has been cropped to mark a V.

Victims in the main pavilion.

The illusion of a collective suicide.

If the information that about 400 victims were at the main pavilion is correct, then about 500 victims would have been elsewhere. It was, of course, impossible to gather the entire population of Jonestown in the main pavilion. During the fake "meeting", there were probably parents of small children who stayed at home. Even very old people may have been released from the obligation to attend. When they noticed that something was wrong, they tried to escape into the jungle. The whole area was surrounded by soldiers. Up to 700 soldiers may have taken part in the operation. There were no chances for those who tried to escape. They were shot dead by the military. It is not easy to command a person to commit suicide. Most have a deep-rooted survival instinct. Private investigators believe that a few members may have committed suicide.

Jim Jones is said to have been found with a gunshot wound to
his head. His body has never been autopsied. It was speculated whether it was murder or suicide. My assessment is that Jim Jones and his family had left Jonestown before the massacre. The messages sent out over the communication system, just before the massacre, were pre-recorded and stored on cassette tape. Such was the person Jim Jones. It was the money that was most important in the business - not the members. It is known that the Peoples Temple had plenty of money. Here, the CIA and Jones have divided the assets. Since then, the preacher and his family have disappeared to a foreign land.

With Ryan's visit to Jonestown, the CIA
experiments with Mind Control were over. The CIA did everything in its power to sweep away the traces of this heinous crime against humanity. You could say that they managed to dupe the mainstream media all over the world, but then as now there were private investigators who were ready to deliver the truth about Jonestown.
