Hyundai GPS tracker (No. 2) Discovered, 2021-10-04.
After discovering a Hyundai GPS tracker 2021-09-14, it was relatively calm on the hacker front for a few days. Then the attacks started again. I discovered new viruses on my computer (described in the CIA section). I began to suspect that another GPS tracker was installed. I started the search under the right part of the dashboard. When I looked from below, I could not detect anything suspicious. I saw that there was a hollow space, about 20 cm wide, which extended all the way to the top of the dashboard. I mounted my mobile phone on a tripod and then videotaped the space. While reviewing the film, I discovered a GPS tracker. It was located at the top under the dashboard, close to the ventilation openings at the far right of the dashboard. I disassembled the plastic part that covers the end of the dashboard against the passenger side door. There I could access the tracker and disassemble it.

In October, 2018, it was time for the annual service of my Hyundai i20. I contacted a workshop in Torremolinos. When I handed in the car, I was told by the workshop manager that the service would take two hours. I was amazed at this amount of time. At previous service, about 1 hour would have been enough. When I was going to pick up the car, I was told that the service was not finished. I had to wait another 30 minutes before it was ready.
